INVITATION to SPONSORS
VSCCC’s Annual European Classic Car Meet: Stanley Park
The Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary (“the Club”) is pleased to advise that the application to reserve
Stanley Park has been approved for the European Classic Car Meet (ECCM) for Saturday July 18, 2026,
and we invite you to participate in our event. A “Rain Date” of July 25th has also been approved in case
of inclement weather. Committed sponsors will receive an update two days prior to the event should the
weather dictate the need to move the ECCM to the Rain Date.
The main goal of this event is to provide an opportunity for Car Club members, as well as members of the
public that own cars of European manufacturers to showcase their cars, to provide a platform for spon-
sors to promote their business, and for public enjoyment. There are considerable expenses involved in
hosting the event, such as rental of the park from the City of Calgary, rental of sanitary facilities and other
items of expense, so predictability of income from sponsors for the event is essential.
The Club’s charity of choice for 2026 is The Veterans Association Food Bank and a portion of the proceeds
from the event will be going to them.
The Club understands that for many businesses, making a commitment of a few hundred dollars as a
sponsor is a significant sum; we have decided to advise sponsors of this “Save the Date” early, so that
companies can budget for the event.
To achieve a smooth execution of the event and to maximize the benefit for both parties, it is crucial to
have commitments confirmed to allow time for the Club to get posters printed and to plan layout of the
field.
Key notes regarding Sponsorship:
1) To commit to vendors, allow time to produce posters, and to advertise the event sufficiently, sponsors
should commit as soon as possible and forward a digital copy of the Company logo at that time. This
will trigger posting of your Logo as a sponsor on the VSCCC website, and will represent a 100% com-
mitment to the event. The Club will generate an invoice to be paid prior to the event. Failure to commit
on time could result in not being included on the posters and advertising for the event, as well as
missing out on field placement opportunities in the show, and non-display of the logo on the website.
2) Late sponsorship commitment will be possible, but choice of location on the field will be severely lim-
ited.
3) Every effort will be made to segregate the sponsors of like businesses, in a way that competing spon-
sors are not located adjacent to each other on the field.
4) Should all Rain Dates fall through and the show not able to proceed for the given year, a portion of
the sponsorship fee will be refunded to the sponsor.
5) If a committed sponsor is a “no show”, no sponsorship fees will be refunded.
6) The Club will have sponsorship signage throughout the park, indicating your presence on the field to
both participants and the visiting public, as well as in our VSCCC Newsletter and other media.
7) Sponsor’s vehicles will be eligible for judging in a separate Sponsors class.
