2025 VSCCC Spring Breakout: Safety Check, Garage Tour and Barbecue

Spring Breakout Tour for 2025

Event is Saturday, May 10, 2025.

It starts off in Glenmore Park North for our annual SVAA safety checks. Then off to a tour of a local garage, or short drive( TBD) and then finishes with the world famous Tom and Sue Scully BBQ.

Safety checks run from 9:00 - 1:00 at North Glenmore Park.

Please try and come out; it is a great event and the more safety checks we do, the better it allows the SVAA to defend our hobby and keep the government from eliminating classic cars on Alberta roads.

Last year the MG club won for the most safety checks done by a club. This resulted in a reduction in the cost of their club insurance. It is a little embarrassing that a club with less than half the membership, outperformed us in turnout for their club. We can and should do better!

Garage tour is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm,  Location TBA

The BBQ at The Scully’s starts at 4:00pm, please do not arrive before 4:00 as they will be setting up and need space to do so. Please bring a lawn chair for you and your guest.

PLEASE NOTE:  Addresses and directions to the locations of the garage tours and the barbecue will be handed out at the Vehicle Safety Check.  If you do not plan on attending the safety check portion, please contact one of the Executive and we would be happy to send them to you.

Registration CLOSES  on Thursday, May 8, 2025. PLEASE REGISTER SO THAT WE CAN ENSURE WE HAVE ENOUGH FOOD!!!
