Classic Car Appreciation Day Drive and Meet

  • Meet at Shawnessy Canadian Tire, 250 Shawville Way SE at 9:30am for 9:45 am Departure
  • Take Hwy 2 south to Nanton to Bomber Command Museum, 1659 - 21st Ave, AB Hwy 2 South, Nanton, AB
  • 11:00 Will be given tour by director of Mosquito Restoration project, ( Please plan to bring a donation for the Museum as it operates on donations and Volunteers)
  • Prior to departure from Museum will discuss SVAA Safety Checks, Whether people want to get a burger before leaving.
  • Return To Calgary via Hwy 533 to Chain Lakes and Hwy 22X to Calgary
  • Plan on approximately 4-5 hours all together.
  • On the way back we could stop at Chain lakes for Ice cream cone but it is cash only.
  • Optional route would include turning at Millarville and taking 549/762 to Brag Creek home.
