Our '59 Bugeye Sprite (11)

  • January 2017, picking up the Bugeye. And in case you were wondering, that's a 6'x8' utility trailer!
  • Engine bay painted, brake and fuel lines installed.
  • New engine almost ready to install.
  • Major bodywork completed....
  • First coat of primer.
  • Seat bases completed and test fitted into the car.
  • Test fit of the seat foam... waiting for new covers. Those will be red with white piping.
  • State of the project as of 18 Sept, 2022
  • Engine with its velocity stacks from Q1 Classic Engineering.
  • K&N filters ready to go!
  • Engine, gearbox, driveline, suspension and radiator all in place!
